We spent the week of Christmas in Tulum, Mexico with Brett and Nadia! ?
THINGS TO DO
- Rent bikes and head to Coba Ruins. Wear comfortable shoes and you can climb to the top.
- Explore a cenotes.
- Go to the full moon party at Papaya Playa!
WHERE WE STAYED
The Tulum beach area is a small road that runs the length of the beach. There are resorts and accommodations on both the beach side and across the road. This area feels very relaxed with cute restaurants and yoga studios peppered in. Our favorite spot was Papaya Playa. Great views, relaxed vibe, and full moon party.
We stayed at an airbnb about a 10 minute bike ride from the beach. It was a two bedroom with big open kitchen, private rooftop deck with grill and balcony. We made frequent trips to Chedraui (which is basically a super store) mostly for wine, groceries, fruit, and the Santander ATM.
